Morgan & Morgan, Investigator Settle Overtime Pay Dispute

Law360, New York (October 15, 2014, 2:58 PM EDT) -- Florida-based personal injury law firm Morgan & Morgan PA has reached a settlement meant to resolve a former field investigator's allegations that he was not properly paid overtime, according to a Wednesday filing in Florida federal court.

A report following a mediation session indicates that Morgan & Morgan has reached an agreement with former field investigator Christopher Hranek, who had sued the law firm in August 2013 alleging that he routinely worked more than 40 hours per week and deserved — but was not paid — overtime for those hours.
