Avista Corp., Idaho Settle on Energy, Gas Price Hikes

Law360 (August 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Energy company Avista Corp. has reached an agreement with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission over a proposed rate hike for electric and natural gas services to compensate for high power supply costs, an upgrade to the aging power infrastructure and other projects.

The settlement, pending IPUC's approval, was signed by IPUC staffers and Avista on Friday.
