Parker Hannifin Escapes Liability In Jet Crash Suit

Law360, New York (November 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has affirmed a trial court ruling that cleared Parker Hannifin Inc. of liability for a jet engine malfunction that allegedly caused a fatal airplane crash in 2003.

A panel of three judges in Seattle, Wash. delivered the ruling on Thursday, upholding a summary judgment granted by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington in favor of Parker in April 2007.
