Watchdog Urges Reform Of Health Care Litigation

Law360, New York (August 15, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A public interest watchdog has issued a stiff warning to lawmakers that more must be done to prevent the “criminalization” of the health care system, starting with a crackdown on the rampant filing of lawsuits.

On Tuesday, Public Interest Watch pushed for legislative reform that would prevent the widespread abuse of the legal system in the health care field and curb the negative impact on consumers and America’s health care system.
