The 15 Most Acquisition-Happy Law Firms Of The Past Decade

Law360, New York (March 14, 2017, 5:30 PM EDT) -- Fifteen law firms set themselves apart from the crowd over the past decade by gobbling up smaller firms at a faster pace than everyone else in the industry, according to a report released Tuesday.

Dentons and its various predecessors completed 13 acquisitions between 2007 and 2016 — more than any other law firm — followed by Fox Rothschild with 12 and Littler Mendelson with nine, according to a report by consulting firm Altman Weil titled, “10 Years of Law Firm Mergers: 2007-2016.”
