A New York federal judge on Monday stayed electrical wiring device maker Leviton Manufacturing Co. Inc.'s $303 million patent malpractice suit against Greenberg Traurig LLP after both parties said they had reached a settlement agreement.

A federal judge has shot down Greenberg Traurig LLP's latest move to defend against Leviton Manufacturing Co.'s $100 million patent malpractice suit, denying the firm access to a load of patent prosecution documents the company prepared with counsel it hired to replace the firm.
