A California federal judge ended sprinkler company Digital Sun Inc.'s antitrust and merger fraud case against lawn care giant The Toro Co. on Tuesday after the two sides reached a confidential settlement.

A California federal judge on Tuesday dismissed Digital Sun's antitrust complaint against competitor Toro Co. over a failed takeover bid, but allowed the plaintiff to amend the case despite her doubts the suit would be successful.
