A California federal judge on Tuesday simultaneously dismissed two putative class actions against Facebook Inc. and social network games maker Zynga Inc. that alleged the companies improperly shared consumers' personal information with advertisers.

Zynga Inc., the maker of "Farmville" and other popular social network games, told a California federal judge on Friday that an amended putative class action alleging the company improperly shared consumers' personal information still lacked merit and should be dismissed.
