Ford AC Defect Action May Be Nixed For Lack Of Evidence
A California federal judge on Tuesday indicated she would toss a proposed class action accusing Ford Motor Co. of knowingly selling and leasing vehicles with a hazardous air conditioning defect, saying the plaintiff has provided no evidence that his vehicle has the alleged defect.

A California car owner has asked for class certification in a suit that accuses Ford Motor Co. of selling or leasing more than 108,000 vehicles with a hazardous air conditioner defect, according to a motion released Monday.
