A Kentucky federal judge has declared that First Quality Baby Products LLC did not infringe a handful of claims involving diaper designs in a dispute with Swedish rival SCA Hygiene Products Aktiebolag that has already traveled to the U.S. Supreme Court and back.

A Kentucky judge on Monday dismissed a patent suit brought against First Quality Baby Products LLC by a rival diaper maker, saying the Swedish rival's seven-year delay in bringing its suit bars the action under laches and equitable estoppel.
