    Merck & Co. Inc. has reached a confidential damages agreement in New York federal court with the estate of a Florida woman whose $8 million jury verdict in jawbone-death litigation over osteoporosis drug Fosamax was later overturned, an attorney for the plaintiff said Tuesday.
