Ford Motor Co. on Wednesday became the latest defendant to settle Microlog Corp.'s infringement suit over a patent covering an all-in-one customer contact system, drawing nearly a year of litigation to a close.

Microlog Corp. has targeted close to 20 companies — including Continental Airlines Inc., Ford Motor Co. and Walgreen Co. — in an infringement suit over a patent used in call center management.
