A participant in a SunEdison Inc. retirement plan who claims in a lawsuit that the company's failure to disclose production problems at its silicon plants shrunk the value of the plan told a Missouri federal judge Tuesday that the lawsuit can proceed against company executives, including current CEO Ahmad Chatila, despite the company's recent Chapter 11 filing.

A Missouri federal judge tossed a putative class action by retirement-plan members alleging MEMC Electronics Materials Inc., now SunEdison Inc., illegally hid production problems and thus caused its stock value to fall, ruling Monday there was no evidence the plan should have stopped investing in company stock.
