A Georgia man who allegedly took part in a conspiracy to illegally export attack helicopter and fighter jet parts from the U.S. to Iran was sentenced Wednesday to nearly four years in prison, the U.S. Department of Justice said.

A Georgia federal judge on Thursday unsealed charges against eight foreign defendants who allegedly plotted to ship parts for attack helicopters and fighter jets to Iran, a day after an Iranian-born U.S. national in the case was sentenced to 56 months in prison.
