A Florida federal judge on Wednesday tossed a suit from contractor Virtual Infinity Inc. that accused Jacksonville, Fla., power and water provider JEA and a group of Virtual's rivals of colluding to restrict competition for a $50 million truck chassis contract.

A federal judge has denied Virtual Infinity Inc.'s bid for a preliminary injunction in a suit alleging Jacksonville, Fla., public utility JEA and a group of Virtual's rival contractors colluded to keep out competition on a truck chassis contract worth up to $50 million, leaving the door open for the defendants to move forward with the project.
