An Illinois federal judge on Thursday dismissed allegations that 3D Systems Corp. tried to monopolize the market for 3D printing, leaving only two claims left in a long-running antitrust and intellectual property suit filed by rival Desotech Inc.

A federal judge has refused to dismiss the majority of monopoly claims resin manufacturer DSM Desotech Inc. has alleged against rival 3D Systems Corp. in an antitrust and patent infringement suit but agreed to drop DSM's illegal tying claims without prejudice.
