Mercedes-Benz Escapes Class Cert. In Water Leak Suit
A California judge denied class certification Wednesday in a suit accusing Mercedes-Benz USA LLC of failing to notify customers about a defect in the so-called water-management system of its E-Class vehicles, saying the claims failed to meet the standards imposed last year in Wal-Mart Stores Inc. v. Dukes.
