A New York federal judge on Thursday found that an employee who had accused Wal-Mart Stores Inc. of giving older workers undesirable tasks and firing them at a higher rate hadn't offered enough evidence, tossing an age bias suit that had initially sought $20 million.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is facing yet another employment discrimination suit, this time by over-40 employees who allege they are entitled to $20 million in damages due to the company's “systematic scheme” to reduce and replace older workers with younger people.
