A Nevada federal judge refused Wednesday to dismiss a Sherman Act counterclaim against Bayer AG in the patent infringement suit it is pursuing against Watson Laboratories Inc. and Sandoz Inc. over their efforts to market a generic version of Yaz.

Bayer AG has filed a lawsuit against Watson Laboratories Inc., alleging patent infringement related to the oral contraceptive Yaz, Bayer revealed in an earnings statement Tuesday.
