Apple, Google Get 'Pop Up' Patent Claims Nixed Under Alice
Google, Apple and others scored a win in Washington federal court recently when a judge said a "pop up" computer notification patent they're accused of infringing is invalid under the Supreme Court's Alice ruling, since the claims are abstract and don't contain an inventive concept.
