Wal-Mart Escapes ERISA Class Action In Light Of Dukes
A California federal judge on Tuesday dismissed a proposed class action against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. seeking to piggyback off Wal-Mart v. Dukes, ruling employees can't sue Wal-Mart for undercontributing to women's retirement plans unless it is found liable for sex discrimination in wages that determine contribution amounts.

Wal-Mart Cites Dukes In Bid To Nix ERISA Class Action
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. on Monday told a California federal court that a putative class action accusing it of underpaying retirement benefits because of gender-based compensation discrimination should be dismissed in light of the U.S. Supreme Court's Dukes decision.
