EPA, Texas Gas Co. Drop Row Over Well Contamination
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Range Resources Corp. ended their battle Friday over the agency's order requiring the drilling company to remediate contaminated drinking wells in Texas, dropping a lawsuit and Fifth Circuit appeal after the EPA withdrew its order and Range agreed to help monitor wells.
