Motorola Employees Denied Class Cert. In ERISA Suit
An Illinois federal judge refused Tuesday to certify a class of Motorola Inc. employees in an Employee Retirement Income Security Act suit over an option to invest in company stock, finding the plaintiffs' claims were too variable to merit class treatment.

Motorola Fights Class Cert. In ERISA Case
Motorola Inc. told an Illinois federal court Wednesday that the recent denial of class certification in a similar suit against Kraft Foods Global Inc. bolsters its argument that an Employee Retirement Income Security Act suit by Motorola employees over an option to invest in company stock should not be certified as a class action.
