Xe Services LLC — the security contractor formerly known as Blackwater Worldwide — on Thursday settled a class action brought in North Carolina by former firearms and tactics instructors seeking overtime wages.

Former instructors at one of Blackwater Security Consulting LLC’s armed forces training camps have moved for conditional class certification in a suit alleging the company bilked them out of overtime pay by misclassifying them as independent contractors.
