A Massachusetts federal judge ruled Wednesday that U.S. copyright law preempted legal advertising company Market Masters-Legal's claim that personal injury firm Parker Waichman LLP had breached its contract by continuing to use ad materials from Market Masters after dropping the company.

Parker Waichman Enjoined From Using Ad Slogan
Legal advertising company Market Masters-Legal has won an injunction halting its former client, personal injury firm Parker Waichman Alonso LLP, from using the slogan “you deserve justice — now demand it,” which the firm is alleged to be using in promos, in violation of a licensing contract.
