Cox Faces Renewed Class Cert. Bid In Set-Top Box MDL
Plaintiffs accusing Cox Communications Inc. of illegally tying its set-top boxes to its cable services asked an Oklahoma federal judge Friday to reconsider certifying the multidistrict litigation as a class action, claiming the cable provider withheld key evidence in the case.

Cox Can't Pull Plug On Cable Box Tying Action
An Oklahoma federal judge on Monday rejected Cox Communications Inc.'s bid to dismiss a customer's putative class action in a larger multidistrict litigation, saying the customer had sufficiently demonstrated that Cox may have illegally tied the purchase of set-top cable boxes to customers' cable subscriptions.
