UPS Inc. and Brown Shoe Co. Inc. on Tuesday became the final two defendants to settle with intellectual property licensing company Webvention LLC in its wide-ranging lawsuit over a patent for online data organization.

Webvention LLC has accused 19 companies across a broad array of industries — including ConocoPhillips Co., Dell Inc., UPS Inc. and Visa Inc. — of infringing a patent for online data organization.
