Bankrupt ethanol manufacturer Cascade Grain Products LLC on Tuesday settled a dispute with distributor Eco-Energy Inc. over insurance costs relating to millions of gallons of tainted ethanol that were put out to market but recalled over quality issues.

American International Specialty Lines Insurance Co. is demanding $4 million from Cascade Grain Products LLC on behalf of policyholder Eco-Energy Inc. in a breach of contract dispute over a shipment of allegedly contaminated ethanol.
