Pier 1's Jury Win Upheld In Gift Card IP Case
A Texas federal judge on Monday denied patent-holding company Alexsam Inc.'s bid for a new trial following a jury's 2011 decision finding that retailer Pier 1 Imports Inc. had not infringed on its intellectual property for gift card technology.
