La. Archdiocese Wants Stay Lifted In Founding Partners Row
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans asked a Florida federal judge Friday to partially lift a stay and let it pursue claims against certain parties involved in the government's suit over Founding Partners Capital Management Co.'s alleged $500 million securities fraud involving Sun Capital Inc.-affiliated hospitals.

A Florida federal court entered a final judgment Monday in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s case against investment adviser Founding Partners Capital Management Co. alleging investors were bilked out of $500 million through risky investments involving Sun Capital Inc.-affiliated hospitals, following the court’s approval of a settlement last month.
