Fiberglass insulation contractor Masco Corp. has agreed to hand over $75 million to settle a price-fixing class action brought by independent contractors in Georgia federal court, according to Thursday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

A Georgia federal judge on Monday canceled the trial in the price-fixing class action brought by hundreds of independent contractors against fiberglass insulation contractor Masco Corp., following a telephone conference in which settlement possibilities were discussed.
