A California federal judge on Thursday refused to let Taco Bell Corp. dodge claims brought under the state's Private Attorney General Act in a suit accusing the fast-food giant of denying workers meal breaks and overtime, ruling that the a lead plaintiff had sufficiently exhausted her administrative remedies.

Ex-Taco Bell Worker Subclasses Nixed In Wage Action
A California federal judge on Monday declined to certify two subclasses in a class action brought by former Taco Bell Corp. workers alleging numerous violations of labor law by the fast-food titan, finding the workers did not meet the requirements for class certification.
