A federal judge on Friday allowed the developer behind a wind farm on public lands in Nevada to intervene in a lawsuit that environmental groups and Native American tribes have brought against the Bureau of Land Management over the project.

Two environmental groups and several Native American tribes are suing the Bureau of Land Management, saying the U.S. Department of the Interior agency failed to weigh environmental and cultural concerns before approving a wind farm on public lands in Nevada.
