Evanston Avoids Coverage For Chinese Drywall MDL
A Virginia federal judge ruled Friday that Evanston Insurance Co. does not have to cover claims brought against a homebuilder in multidistrict litigation over defective Chinese drywall because they are barred by pollution exclusions in the homebuilder's policies.

2 Developers Exit Evanston Drywall Coverage Suit
Two real estate developers on Thursday exited Evanston Insurance Co.'s declaratory judgment suit in Virginia against defendants in the multidistrict litigation over defective Chinese drywall, agreeing to waive their coverage claims with the insurer.
