Plantation Pipe Line Co. has agreed to settle its multimillion-dollar lawsuit against Associated Electric & Gas Insurance Services Ltd. over coverage for a 2004 pipeline leak, according to documents filed in Georgia federal court on Wednesday.

A Bermuda insurer has moved to toss a suit with a subsidiary of Kinder Morgan Inc., claiming that a multimillion-dollar dispute over coverage for a pipeline leak and subsequent site remediation should be settled through arbitration because a United Nations treaty binds the companies.
