A California federal judge on Wednesday tossed for the second time an antitrust suit brought by shipping consultant AFMS Logistics Management Group against UPS Inc. and FedEx Corp., finding that AFMS failed to prove the shipping giants stifled competition by refusing to deal with third-party consultants.

A California federal judge has dismissed antitrust claims accusing FedEx Corp. and United Parcel Service Inc. of conspiring to refuse to work with consultants who negotiate lower rates for shippers, according to an order made available Wednesday.
