Caldo Oil Co. and Nella Oil Co. LLC have lost their bid to exit real estate developer and contractor Green Valley Corp.'s suit seeking more than $4.3 million in damages and cleanup costs related to petroleum hydrocarbon contamination at several properties adjacent to their gas stations.

Real estate developer and contractor Green Valley Corp. has hit Caldo Oil Co. and Nella Oil Co. LLC with an action seeking over $4.3 million in damages and recovery of the costs of cleaning up petroleum hydrocarbon contamination in the soil and groundwater of several Green Valley-owned properties in San Jose, Calif., adjacent to gas stations owned by the fuel providers.
