Syntellect Can't Shake $4.7M Indemnity Verdict
A California federal judge on Tuesday reinstated a $4.7 million indemnification judgment against Syntellect Inc. stemming from its failure to indemnify Southern California Gas Co. in a patent infringement suit over Syntellect technology, ruling there was no reason to allocate liability to other parties.

Syntellect Asks 9th Circ. To Toss $5M Contract Judgment
Syntellect Inc. urged the Ninth Circuit on Tuesday to toss a $4.7 million judgment against it for failing to indemnify Southern California Gas Co. in a patent infringement suit over telecom equipment Syntellect sold to the utility, arguing a lower court interpreted its contractual obligations too broadly.
