$45M MySpace Deal Axed For Stiffing Early Stock Sellers
A California federal judge on Thursday rejected a $45 million settlement between stockholders and Intermix Media Inc., former owner of social networking site MySpace.com, because it shortchanged class members who sold their shares ahead of the company's 2005 sale to News Corp.

A federal judge has ruled that shareholders of Intermix Media Inc., the former owner of social networking site MySpace.com, can proceed with a portion of their class action accusing the company's officers, directors and institutional investors of staging an unfair and underpriced sale of Intermix to News Corp. in 2005.
