A Delaware federal jury ruled Thursday that Apple Inc.'s iPhone infringes three patents covering call handling and camera technology that are held by a company formed by subsidiaries of Sony Corp. of America, Nokia Corp. and patent-licensing company MPEG LA LLC.

A Delaware federal judge on Thursday shot down Apple Inc.'s move to toss an action brought by MobileMedia Ideas LLC accusing the tech giant of infringing several patents covering smartphone technology, finding that the patent-licensing company has standing to bring the case.
