Bell South Pays $8.1M To Hang Up Field Managers' OT Suit
AT&T Corp.'s BellSouth Telecommunications Inc. has reached an $8.1 million agreement with hundreds of field managers to settle their class action accusing the company of failing to pay overtime, according to a joint motion for settlement approval filed Friday in federal court in Georgia.

BellSouth Managers Win Conditional Cert. In OT Suit
A Georgia federal judge on Tuesday granted conditional certification to a class of field managers accusing AT&T Corp.'s BellSouth Telecommunications Inc. unit of refusing to pay them overtime compensation in violation of federal wage laws.
