Travelers Can't Appeal But Can Sue In Asbestos Coverage Row
Travelers Indemnity Co. can't appeal a duty to defend a policyholder against asbestos claims, or the $9 million in legal fees it owes the client's parent companies after battling over coverage, but it can go after a third-party insurer for portions of the cost, a New York federal judge ruled Wednesday.
