Judge Won't Nix Ameranth Casino Patents Under Alice
A federal judge has denied a motion for summary judgment by Genesis Gaming Solutions Inc., arguing that two Ameranth Inc. patents on computer systems for running casino poker claims cover patent-ineligible abstract ideas, ruling that the motion failed to consider the claims as a whole.
