A California federal judge on Tuesday denied a musician's bid for summary judgment in a copyright infringement suit against Electronic Arts Inc. that accuses the video game maker of illicitly using one of the musician's songs in the real-time strategy game "Command & Conquer."

A California federal judge refused on Wednesday to toss a musician's copyright infringement lawsuit against Electronic Arts Inc. accusing it of unlawfully using his band's song in a version of the popular real-time strategy game Command & Conquer.
