A California federal judge on Monday refused to certify a class of over 4,000 pharmacists in a suit claiming CVS Pharmacy Inc. failed to pay proper overtime compensation and prevented pharmacists from taking meal and rest breaks.

CVS Pharmacy Inc. has won its bid to nix two claims and several requests for relief in a putative class action filed by two pharmacists who accused the company of failing to pay them overtime wages.
