UBS Must Show Reliance In $100M Egyptian Bond Debt Spat
A New York federal judge ruled Friday that debt investors, including UBS AG, who are asking the court to hold brothers Ramy and Michel Lakah liable in international arbitration for $100 million in defaulted bonds must show that they reasonably relied on alleged misrepresentations in an offering circular.

UBS Presses For Trial In Spat Over $100M Egyptian Bond Debt
A long-fought dispute over whether brothers Ramy and Michel Lakah can be held liable in arbitration to debt investors, including UBS AG, for $100 million in bonds issued in 1999 to a group of Egyptian businesses they controlled lurched toward an early 2016 bench trial on Monday.
