A federal judge in Washington state on Monday tossed aircraft manager SMS Services LLC's $6 million suit claiming insurer HUB International Northwest LLC negligently reduced its coverage without notice just before its plane was destroyed, saying HUB had no duty to notify SMS.

SMS Services LLC sued insurance broker HUB International Northwest LLC on Thursday in Washington state for more than $6 million, alleging HUB negligently reduced the limit for a policy covering an aircraft without notifying the company.
