Chase To Pay $5.5M To Circuit City Credit Card Fee Class
Chase Bank USA NA agreed Wednesday to pay $5.5 million to a class of nearly 438,000 Circuit City rewards credit card holders who alleged Chase tricked them into joining an "interest free" program, then breached their contracts and slapped them with unexpected fees and interest charges.

Cert. Bid Denied In Chase Credit Card Contract Suit
A California federal judge refused Wednesday to certify a class action accusing Chase Bank USA NA of misleading Circuit City credit card holders, saying the plaintiff may have violated the consumer credit card agreement by using the card for business purposes.
