Sanofi Escapes Antitrust Suit Over Lovenox Contracts
Nixing an antitrust suit brought by Eisai Inc., a New Jersey federal judge ruled that Sanofi-Aventis US LLC did not violate federal law by entering into discount contracts with hospitals that purchased large amounts of its anticoagulant drug Lovenox, according to an opinion unsealed on Friday.

Eisai Says Sanofi Misled Court In Feud Over Deposition Docs
Japanese pharmaceutical company Eisai Inc. lodged an appeal Friday of a magistrate judge's ruling that it couldn't make Sanofi-Aventis US LLC produce deposition transcripts from a 2003 antitrust suit, arguing Sanofi misled the court by claiming the old suit involved different parties and another drug, contract and market.
