Tremont's Owner Beats Madoff Investor Suit
A New York federal judge on Tuesday dismissed Oppenheimer Acquisition Co. from a suit brought by seven investors blaming its subsidiary Tremont Group Holdings Inc. — operator of the second-largest group of feeder funds in Bernard L. Madoff's Ponzi scheme — for more than $116 million in losses.

Tremont Can't Nix Madoff Investor Fraud Suit
A New York federal judge declined Friday to toss a suit brought by seven investors accusing Tremont Group Holdings Inc. of negligently losing investor funds in Bernard L. Madoff's Ponzi scheme, ruling that evidence may indicate fund managers should have uncovered the fraud.
